MODEL YACHTING
Two heats of the No. 4 clubs race were sailed by the Christchurch Model Yacht Club during the weekend on Victoria Lake. There was a light north-easterly wind. Results were:—
First heat: A. T. Gray’s Karilyn, (4min 25sec), 26min 56sec; B. George's Fowery (3min 15sec) 27min 20sec; C. Muxlow’s Curley (6min 40sec) 31min 19 sec; D. Fleming’s Venus (smin 30sec) 30min 59sec; G. L. Donohue’s Sea Que (smin 55sec) 32min 32. sec. Second heat: Curley, 32min 7sec; Sea Que, 32min 22sec; Fowery. 30min 31 sec; Karilyn, 31min 52sec; Venus, 34min 58sec. Points gained were: Curley llpts 1; Karilyn 10. 2; Fowery 8,3; Sea Que 6,4; Venus 3,5;
