Tramway Unions—Mr W. Teague was elected checker unopposed in the annual election of officers of the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Tramway Workers’ Union, the result of which was announced on Wednesday. Because of a typographical error in yesterday’s issue of ‘‘The Press” it appeared that members of the executive were elected unopposed. The 12 members of the executive were elected from 30 candidates.
