Dispute To Go To U.N. Assembly (N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 22. The Steering Committee of the United Nations General Assembly today recommended the inclusion on the Assembly’s agenda of Indonesia’s dispute with the Netherlands over the sovereignty of Western New Guinea. The vote was seven to five, with three abstentions. The recommendation now goes to the full General Assembly for its approval. France. Britain and Australia voted against including the dispute on the agenda. China, Colombia, Iceland, the United States and the Netherlands abstained. Those voting in favour of hearing the dispute were Burma, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Ecuador, Syria, Siam, and the Soviet Union.
