£302,949 HANDLED ON SATURDAY (New Zealand Preu Anodatton) WELLINGTON, August 29. The Totalisator Agency Board handled £302,949 5s in investments on Saturday’s six race meetings. The total comprised win-and-place bets of £168,642 10s and doubles amounting to £134,306 15s. Figures for the individual meetings, with off-course i doubles substitutes, were as follows: Foxton: £68,619 (Rutillant). • New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club. £54,952 15s. Waikato: £21,783 10a (WrackdaleTeller bracket). Taranaki: £27,580 5s (lanthe). Pakuranga Hunt, £94,996 10s (Somerset Fair). Otago. £35,017 5s (Saranac).
