N.Z. PARENT-TEACHER COUNCIL
(New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, August 28. Officers were elected as follows by the annual meeting of the national council of the New Zealand Home and School and Parent-Teacher Federations in New Plymouth last night:— President, Mr G. W. Shand (Auckland); vice-presidents, Messrs R. V. Burton (North Taranaki) and G. S. Russell (South Auckland); secretarytreasurer, Mr W. L. Allan (Auckland); committee, Messrs A* S. Partridge (Auckland), H. Brant; (S.outh Aucklarid), and L. A. Jackson (Auckland).
