RHODES STREET RESERVE

Sir, —The lack of local patronage of the Rhodes street reserve has been largely because even residents of the district were not sure it was still our property. Now that the entrance is named, I, for one, will occasionally go .to sit in peace under the native trees. There are plenty of parks and play areas where pojite juveniles are for ever retrieving play material from under our feet. Leave us somewhere just to sit.—Yours, etc., P.M.N. August 29, 1954.
