Messrs G. S. Crowe, J. F. L. Maples, and P. F. Maples, all of Christchurch, have been admitted to the New Zealand Society of Accountants with the status of associate registered accountant. Messrs L. A. Milnes (Motueka) and W. H. B. Smith' (Hokitika) have been granted transfers of status to associate public accountant. Mr lan Gray, of the Board of Trade, London, has been appointed to succeed Mr D. Broad as United Kingdom Trade Commissioner in Wellington. He will arrive in Wellington next month. Mr Broad has been transferred to Trinidad.
