Roy Grattan was third, ahead of Chandelier. BOTTOM: Rupee winning the second leg of the double, the Louisson Handicap, from Denbry (No. 1), Johnny Globe, and Petite Yvonne. The doubles dividend of £3 19s 6d for £1 was the smallest returned at a trotting meeting since this form of betting was reintroduced in December, 1949.
