TOWN PLANNING

Sir, —I am one of those living near the sand-blasting foundry. We are not complaining without a good reason. I am grateful .to you for being fair about the complaints and to Miss Mabel Howard for speaking up at the City Council meeting. It is time something was done about town planning, when first consideration is given to busines people. I live in a very old house, which my parents bought, and am quite content. I have a garden, and can grow flowers and vegetables’ but are we going to be allowed to live quietly much longer?—Yours, etc., AN OLD-FASHIONED LADY. August 12, 1954.
