Dr. Syngman Rhee says that his country, South Korea, is “crying” for atomic weapons from the United States to help it drive the Communists from the northern half of Korea. In a copyright interview with the magazine “United States News and WorljJ Report” published today Dr. Rhee also declares that Britain and France are not anti-Communist nations. He says that the United States is restraining himself and Marshal Chiang Kai-shek from fighting the Chinese Communists by withholding support. Elaborating on hia assertion that Britain and France are not anti-Com-munlst nations, Dr. Rhee states: “I think they are afraid of the Soviet. Also, a sufficient number of British subjects have already joined, communism. “Those people like Winston Churchill must get the voters to stand against communism. If they do not, there will not be anything there. “So many French people are already on the Communist side. General Charles de Gaulle alone Is considered really anti-Communist."
