ACCIDENTS
KILLED BY FALL OF CLAY QUARRY WORKER FOUND DEAD (New Zealand Press Association) ROTORUA, July 29. A man was found dead under a fall of clay alongside a conveyor belt at the Ministry of Works crushipg plant at Whakamaru yesterday morning. He was: Allan Wilson, aged 56, single, a labourer. Mr 'Wilson was found by one of his workmates CYCLIST INJURED Mr Orry Fayle Corlett, of 95 Linwood avenue, suffered cuts to his head when he was knocked off his bicycle by a car at the intersection of Worcester street and Fitzgerald avenue p.m. yesterday. He was later, admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, and his condition early this morning was reported to be satisfactory.
