CANTERBURY AND WELLINGTON TO DISCUSS RUGBY FIXTURES

m WELLINGTON, July 21. The Wellington Rugby Union has accepted Canterbury’s invitation for officials to discuss future representative fixtures during the southern tour of the. Wellington team, or at another suitable time. The invitation followed a suggestion by the Canterbury union for discussions to heal the breach that I
had occurred between the two unions and was accepted at a meeting of the Wellington management committee on Tuesday evening. The president of the Canterbury, union <Mr W. C. Dailey > had no comment to make when the acceptance i was referred to him last evening. .
