(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 21. Soap and soap powders made by a Wellington firm rose in price on Monday by Jd to Id, according to size. Prices of the firm’s toilet soaps are not affected. The Id increases are on large bars of special soap and large packets of the firm’s two lines of soap powders. Smaller bars and packets are up by Ad. Prices of coffee packed by a wellknown Auckland firm have also been increased. Prices for 11b jars and 11b tins are now 12s 3d and Us 9d. For the Jib size the new prices are 6s lOd and 6s 4d. An essence in an B©z bottle has risen to 3s.
