PARLIAMENTARY DAY
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 21.
The House of Representatives this afternoon debated Ministerial replies to questions. Much of the time was taken up with a discussion on a suitable site for a possible New Zealand veterinary school. e This evening, there was a debate on the Murupara paper and pulp scheme. The Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Bill was reported back to the House from the Local Bills Committee without amendment. The House adjourned at 10.28 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. tomorrow. The Murupara debate will be continued then, and in the evening the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance (Mr Holland) will present his Budget.
