ANNIVERSARY OF NAZI PURGE
BERLIN, July 19. The West German President, Dr. *neodor Heuss, today paid tribute to those who died in the Nazi purge after the unsuccessful assassination plot lg S nst Hitler 10 years ago. Dr. Heuss told an audience of Cabihet Ministers. Parliamentarians, and relatives of the dead men that the rtght and perhaps even the duty to the Nazi regime had been tnere from the day of Hitler’s rise to £°jer in 1933—as soon as injustice ana brutality began.
