Inter-club Tennis.— An inter-club tennis match between the Opawa Club and the University Club, was won by Opawa, by eight matches to four.
Japan to Fingerprint Foreigners.— The Japanese Ministry of Justice is planning to take fingerprints of all foreigners, including Britons and Americans, living in Japan, the leading newspaper, Shimbun,” reports. The plan is primarily directed at 560,000 Koreans living in Japan, many of whom live in a state of considerable friction with their Japanese neighbours.—Tokyo, July 18.
