Wellington, and dealing with the 27 hours following the time of issue. Is:— Situation: a deep depression over the Tasman Sea is advancing towards the North Island. Forecast: light to moderate north-easterly winds predominating; coastal drizzle, but weather mainly fair to cloudy inland; cold temperatures. Outlook for Tuesday: occasional rain. WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the West Coast of the South Island;— Variable winds; cloudy in the north, with rain likely later; fair to cloudy in the south, with cool temperatures. Outlook, for Tuesday: mainly fair.
