ST JOHN AMBULANCE TRANSPORT
CO-ORDINATION OF SERVICES To co-ordinate ambulance services throughout New Zealand, the St. John Ambulance Transport Committee will hold a conference in Christchurch today at headquarters in Peterborough street. The latest types of ambulance from Dunedin and Christchurch stations will be compared, and new oxygen apparatus, recently provided by the Can-terbury-West Coast Centre of the St John Ambulance Association, will be demonstrated. Delegates to the conference will include Messrs K. A. Falconer (Priory secretary), S. E. Langston (Auckland centre), R. Harris (South Auckland centre), J. Phillips and H. L. Paterson (Otago centre), and Major-General G. B. Parkinson (secretary of the Can-terbury-West Coast centre).
