CANTERBURY TEAM CHOSEN The following players have been selected to represent Canterbury at the New Zealand basketball tournament to be held at Hastings next month:— A. Hughes, Digbys (captain), J. Murray, Sacred Heart (vice-captain), A. Clark (Sacred Heart), J. Irvine (West Old Girls), J. Fuller (Technical), J. Cameron (West Old. Girls), D. Hughes (Digbys), B. Pratt (Teachers’ College); N. Tregoning (Mataura), A. Kingsbury (Mataura), M. Kummer (Teachers’ College), M. Back (Sacred Heart).
RESULTS OF SENIOR MATCHES The Canterbury Basketball Association’s senior grade competition was continued on Saturday. Results:— Teachers’ College 19, Technical 16; Digby’s 25, West Old Girls 23; Sacred Heart 32, Mataura 12. •
