. No New Zealand Representative New Zealanders in Singapore felt it strongly that the Dominion was the only member of the British Commonwealth without a representative there, said. Dr. R. W. Green, senior lecturer in chemistry at the University of Malaya, addressing members of the Auckland Junior Chamber of Commerce. A large market still existed there for imports and he believed that a representative would pay his way and at least give New Zealanders some prestige there, said Dr. Green.
