Vietnam May Seek U.S. Arms
HANOI, July 15. If the French agreed to abandon the Bed river delta the Vietnamese Government will ask America to send it direct arms shipments, said Dr. Hoang Co Binh, president of the three- “ committee governing North Vi “We X v• t six months to transform the VieUi—nese Army,” he said in an interview. “We can make a remarkable change in that time.” Three days ago, when his committee took office, Hanoi was “panic stricken,’ but now the citizens were ‘calm and resolute,” he said.
