TRAFFIC OFFICERS’ MATCH WON BY CHRISTCHURCH A team of Christchurch city traffic officers beat a team of Wellington traffic officers at table tennis in Christchurch on Sunday. Christchurch won the Victor Joll Pearson Challenge Shield, a memorial to a Wellington traffic officer, by 33 games to 21. The teams were:—Wellington: Traffic Officers W. S. R. Jopson (manager), F. Revel (assistant manager) B. McNally, F.. Heavey, R. Tutt, L. Dailey, R. Jackson, and S. Ward. Christchurch:—Traffic Officers A. Bissett, A. Laing, E. Me Jarrow, J. McMorran, J. Brown, and K. Smith.
