RESULT OF ELECTIONS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17. Major-General Sir Howard Kippenberger was re-elected unopposed as president of the New Zealand Returned Services’ Association today. Sir Howard Kippenberger told the annual conference of the association that this would be his last term of office. Other officers elected were:— Dominion vice-president, Mr K. W. Fraser; honorary treasurer, Mr C. J. Tustin; district vice-presidents, Messrs R. D. Leslie (Northland), A. T. McLeod (Auckland), G. Gower (Waikato-King Country-Bay of Plenty), G. Benbow (Wellington-Taranaki-West Coast), T. Raleigh (Wellington-East Coast), L. Waters (Nelson-Marlborough-West-land), G. A. Harris (Canterbury), and W. H. Sadlier (Otago-Southland). Dominion executive committee. Messrs K. W. R. Glasgow (Northland), S. J. Harrison (Auckland), J. C. White (Waikato - King Country-Bay of Plenty), H. Mitchell (Wellington-Taranaki-West Coast), A. R. Robbins (Wellington-East Coast), R. Hardie Boys (Nelson-Marlborough-Westland), E. F. Willcox (Canterbury), T. A. Turner (Otago-Southland), C. R. Royal (Maori former servicemen), E. J. Adams, E. E. Young, and G. C. G. Peterwood.
Representatives on other bodies were appointed as follows:—Dominion headquarters of the Disabled Servicemen’s Re-establishment League, Messrs C. J. Tustin, H. Mitchell, and H. A. C. Davy; Federated Farmers, Mr W., Horrobin; Heritage, Sir Howard Kippenberger; Immigration Advisory Council, Mr J. Abel; Land Settlement Board, Messrs B. J. Jacobs (representative) and A. R. Robbins (deputy); National Rehabilitation Council, Messrs T. G. Taylor and W. E. Leadley; N.Z.E.F. Canteen and Regimental Funds Trust Board, Colonel M.
