WATCHES VALUED AT £90 STOLEN
SHOP WINDOW BROKEN A plate-glass window in the premises of Mason, Struthers and Company, Ltd., Colombo street, was broken early yesterday morning, and 16 wrist watches, valued about £9O, were stolen. A constable found the window broken when he was making the first round of his beat.
When the lessee of the tea kiosk in the Botanic Gardens went to open the premises for business yesterday afternoon he found that the rooms had been broken into. Silverware, tobacco, and small change, of a total value of £l6, had been stolen.
