RICCARTON MEMORIAL LIBRARY
The completion of the memorial wing and the establishment of a junior library were reported to the annual meeting of the Upper Riccarton War Memorial labrary held recently. Officers elected were:— President, Mr A. Biggs; viqe-presi-dent, Mr W. Hardy; honorary vicepresidents, 30 were elected; secretary, Mr L. C. Crequer; treasurer, Mr L. Rexworthy; auditor, Mr A. Biggs; librarians, Mrs G. Gawler, Messrs <Fardy, Raxworthy, Evans, Rivers, BowIman, Barton, Price and Edwards; custodian, Mr A. Biggs; trustees, Messrs Barton and Purvis; committee, Mesdames Allingham, Britnell, Cameron, Coppard, Moody, Clark, Fazackerly, Mills and Thompson, Messrs Ashbolt, Garrick, Barton, Burdett, Bow- . man, Cole, Evans, Hardy, Rivers, Raxworthy, Stackhouse, and Edwards,
