MATCH AGAINST WEST COAST
CHANGES CAUSED BY INJURIES (From Our Own Reporter) , GREYMOUTH, June 6. Several changes in . the Canterbury team to meet the West Coast at Rugby Park, Greymouth, tomorrow, are likely . because of injuries suffered in the match against Buller bn Saturday. R. Smith has a knee injury and is unlikely to play,' and D. Young, the hooker, ■ has an ankle injury and will not plav. B. Columbus is also injured. In scoring 1 for Canterbury on Saturday he injured his back and although it is still rather stiff lie may play. Smith’s position on the left wing will most likely be filled 1 by P. J. Creedy, and A. Bellamore will , take Young’s place in the scrum. Alan Lindbom, who is also suffering from a slight injury, will not play for West Coast tomorrow. His position on the . right wing will be filled by R. Steel. ' The ground at Rugby Park is in good condition though slightly sticky in parts. The weather forecast for Greymouth to- ; morrow is not favourable and it is ex- , pected the game will be played in wet weather.
