MOVING FOOTPATH.—This is a section of the 227ft long “speed walk” installed at the Erie (New Jersey) station of a United States railway company in an effort to win back lost passenger traffic. The moving footpath, which is wide enough for three persons to ride abreast, operates much like the conveyer belt widely used in industry.
