ELECTION OF OFFICERS Officers were elected as follows at the annual meeting of the Canterbury District Council of the Workers’ Educational Association:— President, Mr A. A. Dingwall; vicepresidents, Messrs W. C. Beck and G. J. Brooker; secretary-treasurer. Mr Lincoln Efford; honorary auditor, Mr A. A. Bruce: honorary librarian, Mrs A. L, Wilson; executive, Mesdames Wilson, M. B. Harding, and J. R. Dunmill, Messrs E. L. Tinker, R. Rimmer, H. Palmer, and E. R. Hayman; delegates to the tutorial class committee, Mrs Dunmill, Messrs Dingwall, Tinker and Beck; representatives on Regional Council of Adult Education, Mrs Wilson, Messrs Dingwall and Efford; representative on Dominion executive, W.E.A., Mr Dingwall; representative on Risingholme Community Centre committee, Mr K. H. Perren. At the annual meeting of /the New Zealand W.E.A. in Auckland on June 19 and 20, the Canterbury district will be represented by Mrs Wilson and Messrs Dingwall and Efford. Mr G. Manning, metropolitan tutor, may also attend the meeting.
