PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATIONS
CANTERBURY FEDERATION’S •ANNUAL MEETING The formation of a sub-federation in North Canterbury had been an interesting development during the year, said the president (Mr C. T. Ford) in his report to the annual meeting of the Canterbury Federation of ParentTeacher Association. The sub-federation would provide associations too far distant to send delegates to Christchurch with opportunities to take part in combined activities, said Mr Ford. There were 44 associations affiliated with the federation, he reported. Officers were elected as follows: patrons. Professor H. E. Field and Mr S. J. Irwin; president, Mr Ford; immediate past president, Mr G. A. Skelton; vice-president, Mr K. A. Doell; ■ honorary secretary-treasurer, Mr K. S. Hill; honorary auditor, Mr R. H. Graveston; committee, Messrs S. S. Dodwell. A. D. Newton, R. Rosevear, and L. S. Young, and Mesdames D. , AUingham, L. J. Broomfield, F. W. Gunz, and L. Turner. /
