FRIDAY (Before Mr F. F. Reid, S.M.) REMANDED Kenneth Charles King, aged 19, a fowl plucker (Mr H. S. Thomas), was remanded to April 2 on a charge that, on March 18, while under the influence of liquor, he was in charge of a motor-car in Moorhouse avenue. Bail was renewed, DRUNKENNESS William Henry Alsweiler, aged 60, a joiner (Mr G. S. Brockett), pleaded guilty to a, charge that on March 26 he was found drunk in a public place, having been once previously convicted of a similar offence witbin the last six months. He was fined £l.
