WINTON CLUB “The Press” Special Service m , , INVERCARGILL. March 25. There has been considerable rain during the week, and the track will be dead for the Winton Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday. The fields are of excellent strength. The double will be on the Members’ Handicap No. 1 and the Members’ Handicap No. 2. The Browns Handicap will probably be run in divisions? Brackets are:— Heddon Bush Handicap: Navaro and Ballarian. Browns Handicap: Ascend and Floral Hall, Chips and Rachrine, Easy Gold and Power Drive, Gang Warily and Pot Shot, Maximilian and Philosee, Shyanna and Sunny Balfour. Members’ Handicap No. 1: Erskine and June Hall, Nigger Hall and New Idea. Central Handicap: Marionette, Dunvegan and Blazeworthy, Super Nurse and Lauder Lass. Members’ Handicap No. 2: Colraine and Lucky Hall. Stewards’ Handicap: Man Friday and Bon Marche. Au Revoir Handicap: Abbasia and Super Scotch, Blazeworthy, Marionette and Dunvegan, Lauder Lass and Camdon, Mavis Dillon and Our Kentucky. Selections 11 a.m.—Heddon Bush Handicap: Fencer, Navaro-Ballarian bracket, Moccasin. 11.45 a.m.—Browns Handicap: first division: Rockhaven, Amazon. Philosee.
