TRAMWAYS APPEAL BOARD
OBJECTION TO MAN’S PROMOTION
On the ground that their promotion had been unreasonably withheld, three senior Transport Board operators appealed before the Tramways Appeal Board against the appointment of a junior man. Mr A. W. Savage, to a position as a junior inspector. Mr B. McClelland represented the three appellants, Messrs George Henry Stanley-Boden, Norman Richard Hawker, and Claud Hamilton Bilton. Mr W. K. L. Dougall appeared for the Christchurch Transport Board. Messrs F. F. Reid, S.M., F. C. Penfold, and L. J. C. Southon, who comprised the Appeal Board, will give a decision in writing.
