WOMAN’S DRESS CATCHES FIRE SEVERE BURNS TO HANDS (From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. February 17. Mrs Melva Woollett, wife of Mr Ralph Woollett, of Paroa, was burned when her dress caught fire in an accident at her home yesterday. She was admitted to the Grey Public Hospital, where her condition is reported as satisfactory. Mrs Woollett was washing clothes, and when she bent over the wood-fired copper her dress caught alight. She suffered severe burns to her hands in her efforts to put out the flames.
