DR. JAGAN ON WAY HOME
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 16. Dr. Cheddi’Jagan, the deposed Prime Minister of British Guiana, left London airport today for Paris on the first leg of a roundabout trip home. Accompanied by his former Minister of Education, Mr L. S. Burnham, he planned to fly to Guadaloupe from Paris and there board a direct aircraft for Georgetown. Dr. Jagan said that all other routes had been barred to him. The two men have just completed a tour of Europe and Asia after the suspension of the British Guiana Constitution and the dismissal of the People’s Progressive Party Government which they headed.
