Two men employed by the South C anterbury Brickworks, Ltd., Messrs G. Faster and T. Valentine, had a narrow escape from injury Soon after 2 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon When a truck of clay pitched off an overhead rail, crashed through an iron roof and hurled more than a ton of debris on to me spot where they had been working minutes before. The truck of clay, weighing in all about three tons, was derailed when one of its wheels broke in tw0.—(F.0.0.R.)
