BRITISH TRADE WITH SOVIET
BIG CONTRACT FOR MACHINE TOOLS
(Rec 8 p.m.) MOSCOW. February 14. Three British industrialists announced today that Russia had signed contracts with them to purchase machine tools worth £3500.000 with deliveries starring this year and coniinuing until 1957. . The industrialists are members of a group of 33 British businessmen nowinvestigating trade possibilities with Russia.
British and Soviet deals since the group arrived in Moscow a fortnight ago now' total £15,500,000.
