Forecast: moderate north-easterly winds on the coast, light variable winds elsewhere; fair weather, except for some early morning drizzle; moderate to mild temperatures. Outlook for Tuesday: fair. WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the .West Coast of the South Island:— Light variable winds; weather fair to cloudy, except for scattered drizzle and fog areas at first; temperatures moderate. Outlook for Tuesday: rain later. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather in Christchurch yesterday Was Sne but cloudy, with a moderate north-west wind. At midnight, the sky was overcast, and there was no wind. The temperature was 58.1 degrees. The barometer, at 30.14 inches (1020.8 millibars), was rising steadily.
