Social Evening for Yachtsmen.— Peter Mander, who recently won the world 18-foot yacht championship at Auckland, his brother, Graham Mander, who won the Moffat Cup, and the crews of the yachts Intrigue, Gossip, and Tyrade, will be the guests of the Canterbury Yatch and Motor Boat Club at a social evening to be held on Friday in the Lyttelton Harbour Board’s social hall.
