TANGIWAI RAIL DISASTER
COUNSEL TO ASSIST INQUIRY
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 1. „Mr R. Hardie Boys, a well-known Wellington barrister and solicitor, has been appointed counsel to assist the Board of Inquiry set up to investigate the Tangiwai railway disaster. Accompanied by Mr Hardie Boys, a member of the board visited Tangiwai last Thursday to obtain first-hand information concerning the general layout of the scene of the disaster.
