McCarthy, v, ho- is to be captain, J A. O’Meara and T. Reid played for Ire’and against New Zealand on Saturday. Reid has since been dropped from the team selected to play France in three weeks. Another of the Munster team, T. Clifford, was a powerful front-row forward in the British Isles team in New Zeal' nd in 19 0.
