N.S.W. WOMAN TO STUDY SHORT IN N.Z. (Aeu Zealand. Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 12. The secretary of the New South Wales governing council of Vie Australian Girls’ Marching Association 'Miss Joyce Pullen) arrived at Wellington from Sydney today to study New Zealand’s methods of training and administering girls’ marching teams. ♦ Miss Pullen, who manages a silk store in Tam worth, became a member of the first sub-branch of the Australian association when the spnrt was introduced in her town in 1946. She claims to have attended every major marching contest in her state since that time and is enthusiastic about girls’ marching. She will visit many centres throughout the North Island to see major marching events during her stay.
