Provision for Aged
Special provision has been made for aged and infirm people from Rangiora to see the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh when they visit the disabled servicemen’s training centre at Riccarton on the afternoon of January 19. Thirty seats have been allocated to the Rangiora Borough Council for them in Park terrace near Peterborough street. Those in attendance or the aged and infirm will be permitted to stand just to the rear of the special seating. If applications are in excess of the number of seats a ballot will be held.
