NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR JAPAN (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 16. The secretary of the Dominion Wrestling Association (Mr J. Steel) today said that the New Zealand amateur wrestling team to compete in the world championships at Tokyo would leave Wellington by air on May 14 and return to Wellington on June 1. The team would fly both ways, and would wrestle in Manila and m Malaya. , ~ . The men who went to Japan would be available for the New Zealand team for the Empire Games In Canada it required. he said. "They will find the wrestling in Japan much harder than at Vancouver,” he added.
