Competition for Religious Art
A competition entitled “The Religious Theme in Art.” open to artists throughout New Zealand, is being conducted by the Auckland Society of Arts. The prize is £lOO, and entries will be received both for painting and for sculpture not executed more than three years before the closing date of the competition, September 30, 1954. An exhibition of selected entries is to be arranged after the competition has been judged.
