UNJUSTIFIED INCREASES
PRIME MINISTER’S WARNING (New Zeaiona Press Association) AUCKLAND. December 15. A warning that the Government would take action against shopkeepers who imposed unjustified price increases was given by the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) at Onehunga last night. He was speaking in support of the National Party’s candidate for Onehunga. Mr L. G. Bradley. “This Government takes a very dim view of people who without justification or unnecessarily push up the Drices of their commodities at the ex-
pense of the public,” said the Prime Minister. • “The Government will not hesitate to take such action as is within its reach to ensure that these conditions are not allowed to continue.”
