Faulty Workmanship.—A letter from the Ministry of Works concerning alleged faulty workmanship at the Christchurch Boys’ High School was considered in committee last evening by the Christchurch Post-Primary Schools’ Board. The chairman (Mr W. J. Cartwright) later reported in open meeting that the letter had been “received.” A report of the board’s meeting on November 17, published in “The Press,” said that some of the window sashes at the school had been found to be swinging by hinges secured by one screw, or by screws let into holes too big for them.
