NATIONAL ORCHESTRA
Sir.—‘-*Wide Awake” expresses the opinion of the great bulk .of radio listeners. The National Orchestra is one of the Labour Government’s chickens coming home to roost. It should be swept out of existence and thus relieve listeners of this additional 5s levy. Why should the many have to pay for a luxury enjoyed by the few?—Yours, etc., NOT ASLEEP. December 15, 1953.
