MR R. C. PRICE 1 Mr Reginald Charles Price, wh|U died in Christchurch, recently, was mm electrical engineer with considerabhK overseas experience and one Gf th»® first shift engineers to have wodndE on ‘he Otira tunnel. He was aged® 73. | Mr Price was the son of an old St I Albans family, and was bom in ISmj at his boyhood home in road, opposite St. Matthew’s ChmtoX This old house is still standing tndgy.W Mr Price was educated at thi. Albans School and Canterbury Uni® versity College. While in his twenties# he travelled to England, and from Ufim to 1906 worked for Cross and Knowles# Ltd., manufacturers.
