November 6. 1 The House of Representatives ad- . journed at 10.30 a jn. today until 2-30 j • p.m on Tuesday as a mark of respect. to the memory of Mr Robert Walls; ■ <Opposition, North Dunedin), who died in Dunedin early today. I Tributes were paid to Mr Walls by, the Prime Minister (Mr Holland), the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nash), the Minister of Defence <Mr T. L. Macdonald), Messrs P. G. Connolly (Opposition. Dunedin Central), J. G.j Barnes <Government. St. KildaD. W.i A. Hudson (Opposition, Mornington».! J. A. Roy (Government, Clutha), E. T. Tirikatene (Opposition, Southern Maori), and C. L. Carr (Opposition,; Timaru). The House passed without comment : an Imprest Supply Bill which had: been set down for debate. Mr Nash and five other members: •of the Opposition will attend the’ funeral of Mr Walls. Accompanying; Mr Nash will be the Deputy-Leader of j the Opposition (Mr C. F. Skinner), the president of the Labour Party (Mr A. H. Nordmeyer>. Mr M. Moohan (Opposition, Petone), Mr Hudson, and Mr Connolly. The Prime Minister will also attend. , Other Government representatives will be Messrs Macdonald, Roy, and Barnes.
