VISCOUNT AIRLINER’S PROGRAMME Eight cities and towns in the South Island will see the Birtish European Airways Viscount 700 turbo-prop airliner Endeavour which established fastest time in the transport handicap section of the air race. Arrangements have been made by Tasman Empire Airways, general agents for 8.E.A., for the Endeavour to fly south as far as Invercargill and across to the West -woast ft will spend three minutes

over each place, flying at a height of 1000 ft, and will cruise at 300 miles an hour. Piloted by Captain W. Baillie, and with the same crew, that flew in the race, the Endeavour will leave Harewood at 9.50 a.m. and return at 12.52 p.m., landing at 1 p.m. It will be over Ashburton at one minute past 10 o’clock. Timaru at 10.14 a.m., Oamaru at 10.26 a.m., Dunedin at 10.42 a.m., Gore at 11 a.m., Invercargill at 11.11 a.m., Queenstown at 11.34 a.m., Hokitika at 12.17 p.m., and Greymouth at 12.27 p.m. <
